This specialized device is designed for the precise Z-fold lamination of anode, cathode sheets, and separators in lithium-ion battery production. It initiates with the folding of the anode, optionally on the same or opposing side as the cathode tabs, followed by the lamination process. Post-lamination, the separator undergoes heating and the attachment of side glue for secure encapsulation.
